Did anyone else pick up any of the Supreme/Hirst dot painting decks? Ours now have a bunch of vertical cracks through the print on four out of five of them; by contrast my Supreme New Order deck (and several non Supreme decks) are perfectly fine, despite all being in the same room.

That is a good question. People have full sets on ebay for $9-10k, BUT they've been there at that price for years, and I don't think anyone is loony enough to pay that much. If you look at how much they actually sell for it seems to be about $400/deck or thereabouts.

It's like those Nike Tom Sachs Mars Yard shoes I didn't buy because I'm a moron. There's some pairs on the 'bay but they want $3k for them. They've been at that price for 3 years now, because that's way more than anyone will actually open their wallet for (including me).

crazy stuff.

If you had the decks valued maybe claim on insurance for the cracking?

but I guess you woulda thought of that already..

Oh, it's not a huge issue - the decks themselves are fine, it's the graphic print that's been applied is cracking, presumably as it's shrunk a little compared to the underlying wood. I'll post some images later.

It sounds like an issue to me since the point of those decks is to display rather than setup and ride?

And I take back what I said about it not being that bad, after having a better look a couple of them have pretty bloody big cracks!
